About Us - ArchaeoScience
ArchaeoSciencewas established in 2013 at the Natural History Museum of Denmark to coordinate a range of projects linking the natural sciences and archaeological research at the museum.
The Globe Institute, with its outstanding research units in geology, zoology, biological anthropology and botany now hosts ArchaeoScience, which facilitate interdisciplinary analysis of archaeological sediments and biofacts as well as artifacts. Our affiliated researchers share an interest in past human societies and their environment and have years of experience in the natural sciences as well as in archaeology.
The ArchaeoScience division collaborates with museums and academic researchers within the field of archaeology. In addition to a range of standard analysis, we offer a consultation service to customize analyses for large research projects, assisting from analysis through to research, interpretation and publication. Contact us for more information or if you are planning a project, you wish to discuss.
All the analyses offered by ArchaeoScience and their archaeological relevance are described on our website. Please contact us directly for more information regarding the different types of analyses and prices quotes.
